Area: A typical food loving Catalan suburb with some excellent places to shop and dine, well maintained parks and narrow cobblestone pathways make for a relaxing atmosphere away from the tourist herds. Santa Coloma de Gramenet is a well placed suburb with excellent 24 hour links to the city including the newly built fast metro which takes approximately 20 mins journey to reach the central point of la Sagrada Familia, also some excellent cycling paths especially along the scenic local river of Besòs which leads from the Litoral mountain range out onto the Mediterranean sea. 2 Metro stations within walking distance from the House: Iglesias Mayor (L9) 2 minutes walking distance from the house, 20 minutes ride to Sagrada Familia. Santa Coloma (L1) 10 minutes walking distance from the house, 25 minutes ride to Placa Cat(hidden) 24 hours Nightbus connection. The house has 5 residents (4 girls and 1 guy) at the moment (German, English, Dutch and Taiwan). We also have "3 little residents" (1 rabbit and 2 birds), which remain outside the house...
